Like many children, my first experience of learning about colour was by singing the song "I can sing a rainbow". My perception of the world at that time was in fact, created by vast blocks of colour. It was simplistic and uncomplicated, I knew for example that the sun was yellow, the grass was green and the ocean was blue. Then reality set in and it became evident that colour doesn't really exist, a rainbow isn't even made up of the colours in the song and no one likes me anymore because my favorite colour is brown...
